The Championships this year will be held in September in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Rob Small and Kathryn Peberdy, the current European Champion, will be joined by Mica Parry who has been selected for the first time. Congratulations to all three for their selection, and we wish you the best of luck. We'll all be cheering for you!

Wirral Wins the Neston Sets
Competing against 8 other clubs, Wirral won the annual Neston sets floor and vault competition on the 3rd July. 37 Wirral gymnasts won an amazing 42 medals out of a possible 138. These included 19 Gold, 13 Silver and 10 Bronze.
While all the gymnasts did a fantastic job in bringing home the overall trophy, there were a few who deserve a special mention. Amy Cheung, Abigail Blacklock, Hannah Saunders, Tayla Griffiths, Libby Farrar and Abbie Richmond all won Gold on both their Floor and Vault exercises. Abigail Blacklock took the highest overall score of the day with an 18.6 out of 20, and Sophie Gradden took the highest individual score for one exercise with an amazing 9.7 for her Set 2 Floor routine.
While we've congratulated the gymnasts in the past, today's efforts really do stand out as an incredible team performance. Well done, everybody!
